About the Internship: This structured internship is designed to equip interns with valuable work experience in ICT by providing support through a centralized Helpdesk service for the integrated Learner Management System (LMS) and assisting in the development of the SETA shared services.
Successful candidates will work at the MICT SETA Head Office in Midrand, reporting directly to the Manager: Business Applications. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience, expand your industry knowledge, and build a strong foundation for your future career.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Matric/Grade 12
- Qualifications: NQF Level 6 – NQF Level 10 qualification in Information Technology, specializing in Software/System Development, Design Programming, or related fields
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Employment Status: Must be currently unemployed
- Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen aged 35 or younger
- Legislative Knowledge: Understanding of SETA-related regulations and governance frameworks
- Flexibility: Willingness to work beyond standard hours to meet project demands; may be required to work overtime
