📝 Job Placement & Responsibilities
Successful applicants will be placed in various Nedbank divisions, where they will take on multi-skilled roles in one of the following focus areas:
📌 Administration & Operations: Support business operations, execute administrative tasks, and ensure efficient department functioning.
📌 Finance: Analyze and present financial data to support decision-making and strategic planning.
📌 Human Resources (HR): Provide HR administrative support, assisting with talent acquisition and employee relations.
📌 Information Technology (IT): Support IT systems, security, and digital banking innovations.
📌 Investment Banking: Ensure proper implementation and maintenance of financial deals and agreements.
📌 Project & Process Management: Manage logistics, administration, and reporting for various projects and process improvements.
📌 Sales & Service: Assist customers in banking transactions, educating them about Nedbank’s digital products and services.
📌 Collections: Manage customer arrears and accounts to reduce financial risks and maintain business compliance.
💡 Roles may include duties as: Administrator, Coordinator, Analyst, Assistant, Officer, or other specialized roles under supervision.
📌 Minimum Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Nedbank YES Programme, you must:
🔹 Be a South African citizen with a valid SA ID.
🔹 Be between 18 and 29 years old (Born between June 1995 – January 2007).
🔹 Have a Grade 12 (Matric) certificate (NQF Level 4).
🔹 Be unemployed at the time of application.
🔹 Have NOT previously participated in a YES Programme at any other organization.
🔹 Be classified as African, Coloured, or Indian (as per the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act, 53 of 2003).
📌 Preferred Qualification (NQF Level 5/6 Diploma) in:

✔ Administration
✔ Business Management
✔ Economics
✔ Finance
✔ Human Resources
✔ Information Technology
✔ Law
✔ Marketing
✔ Sales & Client Services
📌 Technical & Professional Skills Required:
✔ Basic Computer Literacy (MS Office, Email, etc.)
✔ Fluent in English (Speaking & Writing)
✔ Ability to Work in Teams & Follow Instructions
📍 Work Arrangements
🔹 Depending on your placement, you will either:
- Work fully onsite at a Nedbank branch or business unit.
- Work in a hybrid setup (partly remote, partly onsite), depending on the role and company policies.

📌 This is a fixed-term contract with a stipend, NOT a salaried position.
📌 The stipend does NOT cover relocation or long-distance commuting costs.
📌 Providing false information will lead to immediate disqualification.
